1. Welcome
Mr. Venter welcomed all present to this year’s AGM

2. Apologies
Waterkloof Primary and Wespark Primary sent formal apologies.
3. Trophies
The trophies have not been handed out at the AGM and will be sent to the respective schools for winning their bonds as soon as they are back from being refurbished.

4. Minutes of previous meeting in 2023
The minutes of the 2023 AGM was posted on the PEPSAA website and it was agreed by all present that there is no need to read through it and will be accepted as is. The proposed acceptance was by Mr. van Niekerk and seconded by Mr. Engelbrecht
5. Chairman’s report
The chairman’s report was sent out with the agenda 2 weeks prior to the AGM. The chairman’s report was accepted. Proposed by Mr Liebenberg and seconded by Mr Pereira.
Mr. Venter thanked everyone again for their hard work and dedication.
6. Financial report
- The financial report was handed out and Mr. van Niekerk gave a breakdown of the income and expenses for 2024.
- We have a net profit of R11 326,70.
- Mr. van Niekerk explained that Glenstantia paid double affiliation before covid and that is why it is not reflecting on this year’s income
There was no affiliation fee increase for 2025.
- Curro Hazeldean was thanked by Mr. van Niekerk for hosting us and their willingness to help keep the costs as low as possible.
7. General
7.1 Proposed dates for inter-primary and prestige for 2025
- A-bond: 9 September 2025
- B-bond: 10 September 2025
- C-bond: 11 September 2025
- Prestige: 18 September 2025
7.2 Venue
Curro Hazeldean will not be able to host us in 2025 as their field is going to be upgraded and will not be finished before our events need to take place.
Mr. Venter has been in communication with a few schools that might be willing to assist and host us but nothing has been confirmed yet. Anyone that knows of a school that might be able to assist can contact Mr Venter with the details. The venue should be able to accommodate all of the athletes for the bond meetings and prestige with enough parking for the buses and possible spectators. The toilet facilities should be able to accommodate large numbers and a tuckshop where the athletes and spectators can buy food and snacks for the day.
8. Election of new committee
Mr. van Niekerk took over the meeting for the election of the new committee for 2025. Mr. van Niekerk indicated that there were only 6 nominations which were all for the standing members and no new nominations came in. All members indicated that they are willing to continue in their current positions.
9. Closure
The meeting was closed with a prayer.
